Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your goods upon receipt of your order, you will have 14 days to request an exchange/refund via our returns portal HERE. If 14 days have passed since receipt of your item, unfortunately, you are not eligible to open a request.

Instant exchanges are now available. We’ve made exchanges even easier. Get your new item sent out before your return even arrives back with us with our new instant exchange feature.

For UK returns, a return charge of £4.50 per parcel will be applied for the Royal Mail returns label/QR code, which will be deducted from your refund amount. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. Please note, refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving your return.

Returns will not be accepted if the original swing tag has been removed. Returned items must not be folded in any way and must be returned flat; this includes handles. Failing to comply with these terms will result in your return being rejected.

Please be aware that, due to the unique handmade nature of all our bags, our returns policy is specifically tailored to address certain aspects of the craftsmanship. Unfortunately, we are unable to process returns for the following reasons:

• Difference in stripes 
• Pulls within recycled nylon fabric
• Holes smaller than 5mm
• Natural markings
• Handcrafted size or shape variations
• Weave texture

International Returns

For any international returns, please clearly mark on the packaging that the parcel is "returned goods of no commercial value" to prevent the item from being held at customs. Any customs charges incurred are payable by you (the customer) and not by Bags by Monty.

Please see below our returns Terms and Guidelines; any return that does not meet the criteria of our Terms and Guidelines will be refused.

• All returned items must be in original, resalable condition (unworn, unwashed, complete with original tags and/or packaging if applicable).
• Please make sure all returned items are well packaged so as not to be damaged in the post. 
• Returned items must not be folded in any way and must be returned flat.
• Returns to us must be made no more than 28 days after receipt of the goods or without prior confirmation.
• We are not responsible for the return shipping costs of the items.
• We cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured postal service.
• If returning an item from outside the UK, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS', and ensure that the 'Return Goods' option is ticked on the customs declaration form, to prevent any import charges and taxes from being applied.
• Bags by Monty is NOT responsible for any return customs charges made.
