Our skilled artisans put their heart and soul into making each of our bags. Handcrafted in India, our bags are a true testament to the beauty of slow and sustainable fashion.

Each of our bags carry a story, they've been given a new lease of life being made from recycled nylon. What once could've been an old carpet, fishing net or scraps has been delicately transformed into one of our MONTY Bags.

Due to the nature of recycled nylon fabric, please bare in mind that each bag is unique and may have minor imperfections, these are not faults but what we consider to be a raw beauty of their past life that adds to their quirky disposition. 

We kindly ask for you to embrace their minor imperfections, like all of us, not every one is perfect. 

Minor Imperfections may include:

• Loose threads
• Difference in stripes 
• Pulls within recycled nylon fabric
• Holes smaller than 5mm
• Natural markings
• Handcrafted size or shape variations
• Weave texture

To give your bag the TLC it deserves:

• Spot clean with a slightly damp cloth
• Avoid long-term sun exposure to prevent fading
• Your bag will arrive flat, don't worry pre stuffing your bag will help it spring into shape

Please note - colours may rub against light coloured fabric. 

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of receiving cleared payment. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email, this will include your tracking number. Please note that we do not ship orders over the weekend or during UK puplic holidays.

 Additional Shipping Info

 If your shipping address is to the United States, you will not be charged any extra fees unless your order is over $600.

If your shipping address is to Australia, you will not be charged any extra fees unless your order is over $1000.

For all other countries we ship Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU), therefore any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

We recommend contacting your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.

Please be aware that your parcel can be also delayed by customs and subsequent charges can be applied. We have no control over this, and cannot supply any details on why, or for how long your parcel will be delayed.

Bags by Monty will not be held responsible for orders that get lost due to an incorrect address being input at checkout or for orders that are not collected from your local Post Office in the time frame given by Royal Mail on your tracking information. Orders marked as undelivered will get returned to us via Royal Mail, any cost included will be charged to the customer.

If you are not completely satisfied with your goods upon receipt of your order, you will have 14 days to request an exchange/refund. If 14 days have passed since receipt of your item, unfortunately, you are not eligible to open a request.

Please be aware that, due to the unique handmade nature of all our bags, our returns policy is specifically tailored to address cartain aspects of the craftsmanship. Unfortunately, we are unable to process returns for the following reasons:

• Loose threads
• Difference in stripes 
• Pulls within recycled nylon fabric
• Holes smaller than 5mm
• Natural markings
• Handcrafted size or shape variations
• Weave texture

To complete your return request, please email us at info@bagsbymonty.com. We will provide confirmation within 48-72 working hours. Once you have received confirmation from us, the item must be returned to us within 14 days of receiving the confirmation. If the item is received after 14 days, then the return may be refused and returned to you.

To be eligible for an exchange/refund, you must meet all the conditions outlined in our returns Terms and Guidelines at the bottom of this page.

We also highly recommend sending your return back on a tracked service and retaining this tracking information so you can follow the parcel back to us.

Bags by Monty will not be responsible for the postage expenses of the return. Your refund will not include the original postage cost and will only issued for the price of the item(s).

International Returns

For any international returns, please clearly mark on the packaging that the parcel is "returned goods of no commercial value" to prevent the item from being held at customs. Any customs charges incurred are payable by you (the customer) and not by Bags by Monty.

Please see below our returns Terms and Guidelines, any return that does not meet the criteria of our Terms and Guidelines will be refused.

• All returned items must be in original, resalable condition (unworn, unwashed, complete with original tags and/or packaging if applicable.)
• Please make sure all returned items are well packaged, so as not to be damaged in the post.
• Returns to us must be returned no more than 28 days after receipt of the goods or without prior confirmation.
• We are not responsible for the return shipping costs of the items.
• We cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured postal service.
• If returning an item from outside the UK, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS', and ensure that the 'Return Goods' option is ticked on the customs declaration form, to prevent any import charges and taxes from being applied.
• Bags by Monty is NOT responsible for any return custom charges made.
